Fosfomycin for Injection

Trosoft Injection contains Fosfomycin, a broad-spectrum bactericidal antibiotic effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including multidrug-resistant (MDR) strains. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis at an early stage and is especially useful in urinary tract infections (UTIs) and complicated systemic infections.

Indications and Uses:

• Complicated urinary tract infections (cUTIs)
• Pyelonephritis
• Prostatitis caused by susceptible organisms
• Nosocomial infections including pneumonia, bacteremia, and sepsis
• Multidrug-resistant infections including those caused by ESBL, MRSA, and CRE (as per sensitivity)
